Key Features and Benefits
HCL Digital Experience Compose 9.5 CF 228 (K8s deployments)
HCL Digital Experience Compose v9.5 CF228 adds the new capabilities available with DX CF 228 Container update, and:
- Customization of the DX Compose WebEngine image - Custom JARs and related files can be added to an existing official HCL DX Compose WebEngine image for deployment to your environments.
- Enable transient users when using an OIDC identity provider- Administrators can enable transient users when using an OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity provider. Transient users are authenticated externally through the OIDC provider and do not require a corresponding entry in the local user registry. This allows users managed by an external identity provider to access DX Compose without the need to duplicate accounts locally.
- Configure JAAS modules for use with transient users - Custom Java Authentication and Authorization Service (JAAS) login modules can provide further integration when enabling login permissions for users validated through OIDC.
- Enable SSL connections for DB2 in DX Compose WebEngine – Administrators can enable Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) database connections for IBM DB2 in the WebEngine server.
- HCL DX Compose software is available through the My HCLSoftware portal for customers licensed for the HCL Digital Experience Compose offering. Also see the HCL Support Knowledge Article
