I have a user that cannot change his Preferences. When he clicks ‘More → Preferences’, he receives a dialog box: “Noes Error - You must be in Edit Mode to change the value of a field”
I receive the same error opening his mail file from the Administrator client - so I assume it’s related to one or more profile documents that either ‘we’ don’t have access to, or are corrupt.
He was still using an 8.5 mail template - I upgraded to the 9 template, no change - still same error.
