Hi,

I have installed lotus notes 5.01 client on one of our Lotus notes user. Whenever I put the Lotus Notes password. It gives me this message

" The signature on the certificate was found to be invalid. Check the log file for details. Do you want to access the server anyway??"

But if I install the same Lotus notes Id on another machine for her. I works perfectly without this message.

Can someone tell me why only on this machine & not the other machine is this message appearing? Wher in the log.nsf file should I check for the details.

Subject: You cannot authenticate server:

Try closing Notes on that PC, delete the local names.nsf, clear out most of the Notes.ini, leaving only the 1st 6 lines, and restart the client. The local names.nsf should be recreated and the notes.ini will be repopulated.

Try the Miscellaneous view of the log file. In the past this has been not a lot of help for this problem. Look in the server log.nsf for more details. What about recertifying this user?
