Hello everyone,We have just upgraded to 6.5.4 and I have noticed that the backup id files that I keep for disaster recovery do not work as expected. After one user requested the ID file and could not open messages in his database I tried couple of other IDs and it looks like all backup IDs have the same problem. When I change to that user ID and try to open the user’s database it works fine but if I want to open a message it tells me “Field: ‘NamePreference’: You cannot access portions of this document becasue it is encrypted and was not intended for you, or you do not have the encryption key.”
If I go to enable/check Out-Of_office agent the error message is just “You cannot access portions of this document becasue it is encrypted and was not intended for you, or you do not have the encryption key.”
I still can open their messages with my admin id, although I cannot see the Out-Of-Office agent. None of the database is encrypted.
Has anyone seen this problem or know the cause.

It sounds like you do not have current ID files and the ID files have different public/private keys. Have these users been recertified?

No, they have not been recertified since the upgrade and I have not had this problem until the upgrade to 6.5.What would be the best way to update these files in 6.5?

Obviously the document is encrypted (the whole database may not be). I would bet that you could not access those documents before the upgrade but you did not know it. Encryption is a good security feature.

I have the same problem with one lotus notes client. “Field: ‘NamePrefernce’:You cannot access portions of this document becasue it is encrypted and was not intended for you, or you do not have the encryption key”. He told me his ID was re-cerfied recently. What should I do with this?
