Here again with another problem. I have code inside a form which changes the selection formula of a view depending on the information entered in the form. I ran the form with a user with manager access and it works fine but the people running this report only have editor access and when they try to run the report they get the error.
You are not authorized to perform that operation
And then it gives the selection formula I am trying to change. Is there any way this can be fixed. I don’t want to give everyone manager access to the database so that they can run a report. The view is used to get some totals which I display in the form and if necessary to the view gets open to show the details of the totals.
I checked on the help file for the selection formula and it does not have any warning regarding this security issue.
