XPages slow start

When the Domino server did not process Xpages for ca. 20 minutes, it takes about 5 to 10 seconds before the pages is loaded in the browser, which is annoying.

Following questions arise:

  • Where can I find the recommended web settings (for the administrator, application) when using Xpages?

  • How can I log the activities of Domino during these 5 to 10 seconds of delay.

Subject: Agree - I wish we could “preload” some of the XPages stuff somehow to make the initial load snappy

Subject: Experiencing same problem on iSerie

First load of xPages are about 31 seconds. No way to change that ?
