Xpages coming to i5/OS?

I noticed the release notes for 8.5 Beta 1 indicate that xpages are not functional on the “i” platform in the beta.

Can an IBMer reassure me that this is temporary and xpages WILL indeed be supported on all platforms. I am a little nervous because NSFDB2 never made it to the “i” and that was somewhat discouraging.

There were some platform specific issues on the iseries that did not get fixed in time for the public beta.

I wonder what external datasources xpages will be able to connect to on the various platforms after 8.5?
