Does anyone have a code for the following?

I have a Lotusscript agent, which have a string, which again contains of XML code. I need to parse this xml, and be able to get a value from the xml and put it in a notesfield on a form.

Let’s say the string have:

… xml code…

I need to be able to have a method, using xml parsing, to get the firstname, and put it in a notesfield. I want to use the new classes and methods for xml/dom parsing.

In the string, there will be only one level, meaning, only one node with “firstname” and only one node with “lastname”.

The DXL classes introduced in R6 is ready for you.Briefly, you can create a NotesDOMParser, then parse the string into a NotesDOMDocument, then you can get all the nodes in a DOM model.
