Anyone know if Notes R8.5.1 runs on Windows 7? I have no luck so far!

And it’s working quite well…I haven’t had any problems with it yet at all.

Other than a couple of crashes (one while stepping through the debugger and one occuring after having used the debugger for a bit,) the client seems to function just fine. I haven’t had a problem since turning off the LotusScript Eclipse editor (though why that should affect the debugger is a mystery to me.)
I didn’t do anything special to install. I just downloaded the install package and ran it. Had it installed in just a few minutes.
Win 7 is just Vista with a bunch of fixes. Cisco VPN for Vista works just fine, so you KNOW it has to be nearly the same. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. I’m referring to 32-bit Win7…btw.
I also have Notes 6.5.1 installed in XP Mode. Pro and Enterprise users can download the XP Mode for Virtual PC. This basically gives you Windows XP running in a virtual PC inside Win7. That works well also.

I run 8.5.1 in Windows 7 x64 and it generally seems to work fine.
