Win2k and D6 fault recovery script

Hi All,

I’ve got fault recovery turned on and so far it’s saved me a couple late night headaches.

As this is new in the windows platform, I’m curious what others have found to be useful scripts to run at the time of the fault/restart.

TIA,

Scott

Glad you like the feature! The CleanupScript is mainly a holdover from earlier releases. On Unix the CleanupScript is used to launch NSD, but on Windows it’s done automatically. We decided to keep the CleanupScript for backward compatability ‘just in case’ somebody had found a clever use for it, but we didn’t expect it to be used very often.

Very soon now, Unix is going to work like Windows. NSD will run automatically and the CleanupScript won’t be used at all except for specific user requirements (send a messge to the admin’s pager perhaps?). There will be a checkbox available to disable NSD for those who aren’t interested in learning why Domino crashed.
