I can’t help but comment on the increased use of [urgent] in the subject of a posting. Do people think they will get a faster response? All assistance on the forum is free and voluntary and people help when they have the time. If the problem is urgent then PAY for some support through IBM or a Business partner.

Great idea. Love it allready. Everybody that writes URGENT or something similar is ready to pay for the responses. Say USD 20 for the first response, 10 for the next and so on. Immediate help would be garantied. Cheaper and faster than IBM. Does not matter if it is helpfull or not. Pay up. No checks, cash only. See you in Hawaii ;-)))

The advice I give (when I’m asked, which is never) on posting subject lines containing words like “urgent” and “important” is that if you find yourself doing that, it’s already too late.
