Why SY3002E happens?

I am using Kony Visualizer 7.3 and Kony fabric 7.2.

I published a app on changing sync service. i updated version in mobile app code. Now I am getting following error

An application with version <app version> for application ID <applicationId> was not found in the application history.

SY3002E

which means "A sync config on which the client is built is not uploaded to the Kony Fabric Sync Server or overridden with the new version."

Here what is client, what is server(how we do it) and what is overridden with new version.

Hi @Jessicv Thomson​ , Reported error will come If you have not selected "keep existing sync config in history", when your version of the syncconfig has changed in the sync console.

--> Click on the App , select keep existing config in history . Upload the new sync configuration Or you can remove the existing sync configuration file and again upload the fresh one. This should resolve the issue.
