Why is new messages goes in to View ->All Documents?

Hello Everyone,

Does anybody know why is the new mail goes into View → All documents, instead of the Inbox?

What happen is when I open my notes, I get the number of unread message count for Inbox, but there isn’t any of course when I check the inbox. The new messages are actually in All Document.

Please help, I have 3 users are having the same problem.

The common cause of this is beacuse you have two in-box folder in your mail file. Or there is personal folder that has an alia name “in-box” which would also foce the server to deliver the message on the all doc view.

Of course, the document ALWAYS winds up in the All Documents view (that’s what they mean when they say “All Documents”). Normally the Router will put a new document into the user’s inbox unless there’s a rule in place stating otherwise, or it cannot find the inbox folder (due, perhaps, to a naming conflict with another folder in the database or very rarely to corruption of the ($Inbox) folder).

Thanks, but that doesn’t seem to be the case, none of them have created any folders.

Using the designer go in to the views of a “good” design ie your own mail and copy the inbox view ($Inbox) if memory serves. Then delete the existing view in the problem mail file and paste the one you copied. See if that fixes it. (Best to make a copy and play with that rather than the production) This seems to work when file replace design doesn’t I have been having an equally unexplicable problem with corruption of the ($Calendar) and this is the only thing that fixes it.

Thanks for your help. I did fixed the problem for some users. But 2 of them just got the same problem happened again. Do you know why this is happening? Is it virus?
