Why are Contacts deleted from the mail file?

Hello,

I got a users who is synchronizing contacts between Notes and the mail file. User is also using a BlackBerry.

Contacts are to be found on both Notes, Domino (mail file) and BlackBerry, and i working just ok. But for somereason Contacts are removed from Domino (mail file) and the BB randomly. Contacts remain in the local Notes names.nsf but and are not removed during replication with the server.

If I create an agent which modify all local contacts, those are replicated to the server and further to the BB.

Has anyone seen similar, or has some tips on how to trouble shoot it further (local names re-created, new mail file created, BB wiped, BB state DB cleared).
