Which user name/password is used for SMTP authorisation

Hi

We have some non Lotus Notes clients connecting and I cannot get th erelaying working. I would like to know which user name and password is used for authenticating:

Lotus Notes ID details or Internet password with Notes name?

Subject: Which user name/password is used for SMTP authorisation.

For smtp, pop3, and imap use your http internet credentials. Depending on the configuration of your server you will need to use UserName (it is possible to allow user to use their short name as well) and internet password.
