I have not found any information about the server requirements for HTMO 3.0.0.0. Is ist possible to install it on an 9.0.1 (actual FP) Domino server?

Traveler server requirement you can find it from the below link on "System requirements for Traveler 11.0.x and Traveler 10.0.x"
At the last line in the section "Domino Server Support" on the above document, you can find the below information saying HTMO it requires Domino minimum 10.0.0 and above.
"Traveler support for HCL Traveler for Microsoft Outlook (HTMO) requires a minimum of Domino 10.0.0."
So for HTMO you require minimum Domino version to be on 10.0.0.

thank you for your help.
I have checked the documents and have found one very interesting sentence which has been completely new to me:
"As of HTMO 3.0.0.0 - There is no longer a server component as the functionality is build into Domino & Traveler 11.0.1 and above."
With his in mind I am able to reconfigure my brain regarding HTMO;-)

That's right, In earlier version 9.0.x to use IMSMO (Currently HTMO) there were two components server IMSMO installer and IMSMO client installer.
Server component for IMSMO was removed from Domino 10.0 and above and it was clubbed in Domino & Traveler code.
Technically to use HTMO 3.0.0.0 it should work when you run Traveler 11.0.x on top of Domino server and 10.0.x and above (Link). However, we always recommend our customer to be on the latest Domino and Traveler to take the advantage.
