Where is the doc located?

How can a user quickly tell which doc a folder is in if they are accessing it from All Documents?

Subject: This is built into Notes 7, so hopefully you can use that.

Subject: RE: Where is the doc located?

Thanks, but how does the average user see this now? I don’t see it in the doc properties for a particular email. Am I missing it?

Create an action button in your ($All) view with a code similar to this one:If the folder reference is not already enable, it will not work for old documents.

Sub Click(Source As Button)
Dim session As New NotesSession
Dim db As NotesDatabase
Dim doc As NotesDocument
Dim coll As NotesDocumentCollection
Dim count, i

  Set db = session.CurrentDatabase

  If(db.FolderReferencesEnabled) Then
        Messagebox ("Folder references enabled")
  Else
        Messagebox("Folder references are not enabled")
        Messagebox("Enabling folder references")
        db.FolderReferencesEnabled = True
  End If

  Set coll = db.UnprocessedDocuments
  Set doc = coll.GetFirstDocument
  While Not(doc Is Nothing)
        i = 0
        Forall FolderReference In doc.FolderReferences
              i = i+1
              Print doc.noteid, "", i, "", FolderReference
        End Forall
        Set doc = coll.GetNextDocument(doc)
  Wend

End Sub
