Hi,
I am planning to migrate my Outlook Mail & Calendar entries to Lotus Notes but could not find the nupgrade.exe file in the notes directory (C:\Program Files\Lotus\notes) in XP. I have performed a file search but to no avail. I have also read from the Internet that the file is somehow affected by a virus and I suspect that the file has been deleted by my anti-virus program. Do you have any idea where I can download the file or if somebody could just email me the file if it’s small in size. By the way, my email address is randy@execs.com.
Thanks.
Subject: Where is nupgrade.exe?
Hi,
You must have previously installed the upgrade wizard either locally, as part of the user’s Lotus Notes client, or on a shared network directory.
You must only choose this option during installation process.

Subject: Error message… after executing nupgrade 4
Thanks. I have now the nupgrade.exe file. But when I executed it an error message appeared saying “NOEMIG: Setup error. Internet address is missing.”
This is what I typed in the command line: “C:\nupgrade 4 c:\a_PersonalFolders.nsf”. Is this correct or did I miss something?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Randy,
your command line is definitely not correct.
The path for the nupgrade is usually c:\lotus\notes and the addional parameter for path and database is not allowed.
The information about NAMES, DIRECTORY, MAILFILE are being taken from the notes.ini entries.
I would like to suggest you to
- create a shortcut on your desktop that pointed on e.g. c:\lotus\notes\nupgrade.exe
without further parameter.
- If you starting the shortcut, you will see a wizard that guides you through the whole process.
I hope it will work.
Best of luck
Frank
