When I send a calendar invite that needs to be converted to MIME, does it get converted by my home server, or when the invite is sent via our SMTP server? Note - I’m sending it as Notes Rich Text, so it will not be converted by my notes client.
I can do some testing, just wondering if anyone had a quick answer…

Subject: Where does MIME conversion happen?
The conversion will happen at the server that routes to a non-notes domain, so if the servers are configured to communicate notes to notes (not through a separate non-notes SMTP gateway), it will happen at the server that routes outside your local domain (ie your SMTP server). If you route through a separate non notes SMTP gateway to get to your ultimate outbound SMTP relay, it will be converted there.
