Just wanted to know what’s being introduced in 8.5 for mail archiving. I keep hearing that there will be some considerable changes, but I haven’t been able to locate any specifics on the matter. Any info would be appreciated.

Subject: No new features
There are no new archiving features in R8.5. There are some new APIs that make it easier for business partners to provide full-fidelity archiving solutions for Domino, but no new features for native Domino archiving.

Thank you for your response, and I am a bit surprised by it. It was mentioned in Lotusphere that they would make some changes to this feature, and that those changes will be coming as part of 8.5. In any case is there any news about 8.5’s release date??
