What is the best software for checking for virus and spam at the server. If they are separate products, how well do they work together?

I find that symantec’s Domino filtering works very well, we also use blacklist filters to block alot of spam…

I find that Sybari is the most efficient AV tool for Domino.Other than that, Both Norman, Symantec and Trend Scanmail does a good Job.
On the Antispam part, Sybari has a DNSBL/Filter etc. spam-manager plugin to their AV tools.
Besides from that I have found that SpamPal does a very good job on servers that doesn’t carry a to big load (We have one in test that holds around 500 users). It is donationware.
It is a nice replacement for the built-in DNSBL in Domino 6.

No offense to McAfee, but their Domino product sucks. I have EPO and I love the management on the Windoze side of things, but the EPO integration with Domino is sub-standard to say the least. After spending hours on the phone with support, I can’t even get simple answers from them on the GroupShield product - it’s like they don’t care about it and no one knows anything about it. I’m going with another provider for my Domino virus scanning - there are too many idiots out there that open “README.ZIP” files to worry about when the server last got its update from…
