I saw a thread on this back in 2004 and am wondering if the languages are still relevant. What programming languages do you recommend to learn for developing Domino Apps and DB’s? I would think it is becoming more Java, but is Lotus Script still important? What other languages do you think?
Thanks

LotusScript is very, very useful for this purpose. Learning the macro language well will also benefit you. Java is becoming more important so you can develop plugins and so on in 8.0 and beyond, but if you want to create composite applications, a composite app action in your Notes app can’t be written in Java.
