We use the email upgrade option for Notes client upgrades. There is a field in this form “Do not upgrade Notes is the workstation uses build xxx or later”.
I would have thought the “Client Version/Build number matching table” on this form would have been updated with the 8.x design of names.nsf but the last version it shows is “Build 171 = 6.0.x”
So does anyone know, or know where to find the client build number for 8.x?

Did you use SuRunas with this or just use the downloaded kit, etc?

Furtunately I didn’t have to use the SuRunAs function because our workstations are not locked down that tight.
The upgrade by email is working great. The real trick is to make sure people are local to their file servers then they press the upgrade button.
