CD is the basic building-block of how Notes stores Rich Text data in the database. MIME to CD will convert data stored as MIME (the internet standard for Rich Text) into the equivalent internal Notes format.
I’m not sure, but I think CD is sort for Composite Data.

I am guessing you are seeing the message in the console. The user should have the Mail setting in his person document or location to reflect if he wants to keep the mail in sender format, Notes Rich Text or MIME
