What does clock icon represent in the "Who" column?

I just upgraded my template from R5 to R6Mail.

Next to some of the emails in my inbox there is a little icon that looks like a clock. The clock is to the left of the name in the “Who” column.

I can’t seem to figure out what it means. It is only on a few of the emails. And I don’t notice anything in particular with these emails that would cause the little picture to appear.

Holding my mouse over it does not give me any popup help messages…

Any idea’s?

Subject: What does clock icon represent in the “Who” column?

The clock icon is displayed next to items with expiry dates. When you or someone else sends a message that is only important until a particular date (e.g. details of an event) you can set an expiry date in Delivery Options.

Once the expiry date has passed, the recipient’s copy of Notes can know to delete or archive the message (based on the settings that user has chosen.)
