What does a white cross on red background mean at the lower left of an icon in designer 8.51?

It looks a bit strange, the database is actually on a 6.53 server, so maybe it means xpages not available or something.pic:

that means that there are errors in the database.

when you open the outline there has to be further icons like that one (at the positions where the errors occurs).
