What about a license if I use Notes only private

Dear Community,

I like to use the Notes Client only for private purposes. There is no Domino server in the background. In former times there was no license required. Does this regulation still apply? Is there a description of how to proceed in this case? Thanks for your feedback.

Hello Ignaz,

There is a license program as follows.

Program Name (Program Number):
HCL Notes Community Client for Non-Production v10.0.1 (Non-Production).

I would request you to talk to your local HCL Software sales team they should be able to guide you.

Thank you

Hello Ignaz,

I join your club ;-)

I am also interested to have a privat license for my private computer.

But, in that case I need more than a license for the client, as unfortunately the client without server is not really usable. Unfortunately, server dependencies are constantly increasing and a client stand-alone operation is meanwhile hardly possible.

That means a server license is also needed. Will on the weekend read carefully what is written on the websites that Shrikant Jamkhandi kindly advised as to. May be there is something we can use for our context.

Kind regards,

Jochen "Joe" Herrmann
