Weirdness with hotspots when copying doc to new db

I’m trying to copy a document that contains hotspots to another database (different replica ID) while preserving the hotspot integrity.

I’ve been trying to use the NotesRichTextDocLink Class (along with a few others) to mod the link. Here is the order that I am doing things:

  1. Modify the hotspot:

rtlink.DBReplicaID = pd.ProductionDatabaseID(0)

rtlink.ServerHint = pd.ProductionServer(0)

  1. Copy the doc to the other db:

Call docpilot.CopyAllItems( NewDoc, True )

I can see the code running over the hotspot (or at least it appears to) but the links still point to the other database. Any ideas?
