I am working on a brand-new installation of Portal 5.1 and Domino 6.5.? My dev team is having difficulty with configuring domino with the tivoli directory server. It appears that for using the mail and calendar features of domino, there must be a domino directory to keep the person document.
I am considering these options

Use domino directory only. Configure Portal to use it directly for LDAP. Integrate Tivoli access manager with domino directory.

Keep two separate directories and synchronize them with notes agents.

Upgrade to workplace messaging and maintain a single directory with tivoli directory server.
Which is easier?
