Weblink opens html form to display rtf but throws formatting way out! Help please!

I cannot for love nor money figure out what is going on with this page!

I have a nicely coded form using HTML / CSS etc and one single RTF. This form is used as the default web page for displaying the content of news articles.

If I preview the web page by previewing it from designer in the browser, the page looks as it should.

However, if I click on a newslink from my website, the page opens with the content of the rich text field, and the whole of page formatting is lost.

please, please, please help - this site has to go live this week, but I cannot seem to sort this out!

this interesting…it’s NOT the rtf.

I’ve just stripped it out and replaced it with a single text field and still the problem occurs…!?

Yet, when the page is not opened by clickng on a link, the page displays correctly…??

    just an idea. have you tried it to open in Mozilla Fire fox.

just try it and keep an eye on the error console and watch out for any error values.

MAy be if formatting is lost then the browser would report some issues.

eg if any color formatiing is lost. it would report an error as

Error Parsing value declaration dropped.

you could get some errors related to the page… if any problem occurs.

so just check it out and report with some issues. that would be better.
