I’m having an issue with having bulleted rich text display properly in a web browser.
The database is based (unmodified) off the standard template “Database Library (7)” and when the Body field contains a bulleted outline list with various indentation points everything is rendered with all lines at the left border of the field. The lines are bulleted and numbered properly, but they are not indented at all. This happens in all tested browsers (IE6, IE7, FF2)
Is this a known issue? Is there a work-around? Am I just missing something glaringly obvious?
You can manipulate how the bullets look via CSS and changing the properties for the ‘UL’ object.
If you look at the Pages in the Database Library application design you’ll find one called ‘Database Location’. At the top of this page there is some CSS code. You can do something similar to this at the top of the ‘Database Entry’ form and set the properties for the ‘UL’ tag.
