When I am giving the username as the short name which we specify while registration of an user, it is not accepting to log in.
But when giving the username as ex. name@webaddress.co.in (along with webaddress), i can able to log in.
Can anyone tel me whatz wrong with me in specifying the username? Or what to give as username?

In order to be able to use the short name you will need to change the security setting in the serever document Security tab.
Change the Field “Internet Authentication” to “More name variations with lower security”

you can also put the alias name in the user’s person document that you want as usernme while accessing webmail
