@Command([ViewRefreshFields]);

@PostedCommand([FileSave]);

when form2 is open it is blank with no data in it if I save and close form1 then reopen it and compose form2 it wirks fine

how can I achive that without closeing and reopening form1

There are a couple of methods in LotusScript that are used for this exact purpose:

NotesUIDocument.reload()

NotesUIDocument.refresh()

If you search for reload and refresh in the Development help you should be able to find the formula language equivalent.

hi

there are two things

first, you can use lotus script on web using agent.

second, a little workable solution.

at the click of button propmt the user a msg like “in order to create child you have to save parent first”.

or you can do the same without telling the user at all.

one more thing you need not close the parent at all.

Hey,

Try using these:

@Command( [ReloadWindow] )

@Command( [RefreshWindow] )

I believe the reload will pull the data from the back end and refresh will force the page to display the newly acquired data.

Be sure and save the changes first for this to be effective.

Or, read this post from Stan Rogers and see if that is helpful.

You will have to forgive me as I don’t do much web development. I am heading in that direction generally but don’t have a lot of experience under the belt. I do have a lot of belly over the belt, but that won’t help you will it!!
