Web access with multiple servers

Our Domino network is made up of a few internal servers and one external Domino server wich routes all the SMTP traffic (in/out) and has no mailboxes on it.We would like to allow our users to access their mailboxes through the web interface without moving all the files on the gateway server.

Is this possible?

If not, would it be possible to replicate the mailboxes on the gateway server while leaving them on the internal servers?

You can replicate your users mailfiles from the internal server to the external one where your users can access them. (while leaving them on the internal server)

You can also take a look at the article below which takes up more advanced configuration which requires other software.
