We want to buy the symantec add on for antispam. There is a problem: symantec needs that the users send suspected spam email to a database and give us an agent to install. The agent needs that we have all permissions to change the Mail template. The administrator can change with designer some template, but has not sufficient permission to change the mailxx.nsf. What can we do?

Or you make a new mail template of your own and let the user’s mail design inherit from this one. Or you do as we have done namely ask the users to copy and paste their spam mails into a spam mailbox. This spam mailbox has the mail design with the agent in it. Helpdesk is checking this mailbox from time to time and submitting these mails to Symantec.

Didn’t you already obtained the spam agent and install procedure from Symantec? Otherwise you need to contact them for that.

We have it, but we have a problem with permissions. Now we have found, in administrator a function under Menu Administratio–>full access administration, that permit to install the symantec file, but we cant’ see the folder and the agent. Where are they?

Even with full admin you are not always able to see all the design elements. I suggest you create a separate mail template and run the install on that.

i can see the agent on the users, but i can’t see the folder. I don’t understand how can i do to send suspected spam mail. I only can see two agents: FastBMIDeleteSpam and FastBMIFoldering.
