The Notes/Domino Additional Software Entitlements http://www-01.ibm.com/software/lotus/notesanddomino/additionalswentitlements.html lists TDI (Tivoli Directory Integrator) v7.1.1 as an entitled product, but on having raised a PMR with IBM for an issue I’d run into I was advised “The site infers that TDI v7.1.1 is bundled by Domino and this cannot be taken as confirmation that TDI v7.1.1 is tested and supported with Domino9. TDI v7.1.1 matrix supports only till Domino 8.5.x”.
And the reason for the PMR? After upgrading from TDI v7.1 to v7.1.1 in order to access the AD to Domino sync AL from the IBM ISM Library (which was generated in v7.1.1 so wouldn’t load in v7.1), the Domino User Connector stopped working. We had been using IIOP for the connection to Domino but testing all three connection options kept failing, usually with the error along the lines of “names.nsf - the Notes database hasn’t been opened”. That’s why it took a really long time to discover that following the upgrade the DNS name in the connector for the Domino server was the issue and we had to use the IP address to get it to function.
