Want to move the domino sites to another server, what files need to move?

I tried to test in our testing instance by copy one existing folder to new folder and test whether can access the site, the result is able to access but user menu is not generated.

It is not clear what you are trying to achieve. Can you be more specific? What do you mean in particular by "user menu is not generated"?

If you are creating test instances of production databases on a test server, normally you would just make non-replica copies of the .nsf files you want to test (and any that they depend on) and you are good to go.

Actually, the entire domino folder needs to be copied.

Since you are in test envronment, copy the domino folder in the exact same path on your new test machine. Run the domino server installation on top of it.

It should behave just like your existing server. You may need to change a few things in server document as per the new machine especially if you are using ip addresses in the connection documents.

Hi Kiky

Hope you are Doing well

To move the Domino server on another machine, you need to copy following Files and Folders.

  1. Entire Data Directory
  2. Notes.ini of the Domino server.
  3. ID files of Domino server, Administrator, Certificates, and OU (organization units)

Please make sure to install Domino Program Directory and Data directory on the Same Drive and location on the new machine same as the existing one.
