Hi We are using lotus notes client 6.5.3 under data folder we have w32 folder whoch contains only 1 bitmap. Is it really required. Can i delete this for all my users? Hope someone can guide me here.

The folder is no longer required.
I use it to store my own little icons only, but at the end they are in the bookmark.nsf anyway.
