Views does not update on client

Hello

I’ve been doing some changes to different views with lotus designer. Like Adding columns, changins formulas in columns and sorting column information. At first the changes show in the Lotus Notes Client. But eventually say I change the sorting of a column, save my view and go back to the notes client @ this point the client view still showing the old view without sort then I push F9 but nothing happens. I need to reboot the client to see the updates.

I am running Lotus Notes Client 7.0.1 the databases is in a Linux Server with Lotus Domino 6.5.

Do You have any idea what’s going on?

Hello, Have you tried just to close/re-open the Db after the design change ?

Pressing F9 will just refresh the view. Try pressing Ctrl+Shoft+F9, this should rebuild all the views in the db, or optionally, just press Shift+F9 to rebuild that particular view. Also, you may need to delete the cache.ndk file in the data directory (with the client shutdown).
