Viewing framesets in web browsers

hi,im so sorry if this has been raised before i can’t seem to find one that’s related to this in the previous topics,

here goes,

we have a database that’s being launched in web, it’s actually working fine, but then i was asked to change the look and feel of the view… so i created a new frameset and used it in place of the old one, the problem now is, when launched in web, both framesets appear. i can’t seem to get rid of the old one…

i already changed the launch properties to point to the new frameset, and if i revert back to the old frameset, no problem…

are there other properties that should be checked?

thanks so much!

hi,

check if the names/aliases are equal and if so make them unique.

check if your browser chache is up to date, too.

what if you temporarily delete the old frameset?

try this as well.

post your results here again

so far

hi! i’ve tried deleting the old frameset, but i receive something like ‘frameset could not be found’ message when launched… i’ve created and recreated the frameset from scratch…and yes… made sure the names are unique… but same error occurs…

i’ll check the cache when i get back to our client tomorrow, unfortunately i can’t access their server from the office…

anyway, thanks so much for the response, will double check everything tom…

any other ideas?

Did you check the autoframe property of the applicable pages/forms/views?
