View Stop Right CLick to access Document Properties

Good Day All,

I was trying to determine if there was a way to stop the right click functionality in a view to see the document properities? Couldn’t find this question in this form.

This would be a poor security model. Are you not using readers or authors fields? Is there some information in the view they need to see without being able to open the document?

That is correct, they need to be able to see the results, I need to be able to pull who submitted the document…

My only next setup would be to create Two (2) docs for everyone entry I have coming in… One with a reference number and the details and a second one with the reference number and Name/ID.

Any better suggestions out there?

Hi Ken,

If you hide the design of your database, it will stop people from right clicking to see doc properties.

But don’t think that this is security in any way. True security can only be done by Readers and Authors fields and ACL entries. Plus IMHO hiding design has other issues that make maintenance difficult.

I personally do not like the hide design, but of course that is me, Your Experience Might Differ!
