I have created a small discussion forum. There are three different forms with their respective types of Doument, Response & Response to Response. I have created a single view for those three forms. All the forms has three fields named Topic1, Details1 & Author1. The Response & Response to Response form has the fields Topic1(Computed type) with the Value of the field as Topic1 refered from the Document type form.
Now, the problem that I face is when the view is first opened it shows all the documents under the first categorized field. But, after clicking the twistie to collapse all the documents under that category, while I am clicking it again to expand, the view shows only the first document under that particular category. Closing that view and opening it again in Lotus Notes Client will show all the documents again.

Closing a twistie and re-opening it should not change which documents are displayed.
A couple of things to check - does the view have ‘Show Response Documents in a hierachy’ checked? If so, do you have a ‘Responses Only’ column to display the information from the response document?
Is your view selection formula correct?
My best guess would be that the view is corrupt.
I would try building another view, similar to the first. If this works, delete the first view.

I tried with all your suggestions. I have a ‘Show responses only’ column in my view. The view has the ‘Show responses in a hierarchy’ option checked. But still it doesn’t work.
Then I deleted it and created a fresh view with all your suggestions. Still I have been unable to get the desired result.
So, what’s next?
