Does anyone know of a way I can validate the fields in a form individually - like as if you were using the doc.ComputeWithForm method or the @IsValid formula?
What I’m trying to do overall, is find the field(s) causing the ‘Field has an incorrect data type’ error that I’m getting in a document. It’s in an existing database that I’ve been asked to look at for our R6 upgrade project, that failed UAT in R6.
Any ideas or other ways I can acheive this would be appreciated.

Not directly, but…You could put a formula in the validation property of each field something like
@statusbar(@thisname)
Then when you got your error, the statusbar would show the last good field

Chris, it’s a good idea, and I’ll remember that one for future use, but it appears not to produce results when calling the ComputeWithForm method.
From what I’ve seen so far It appears that in R6 the document will save and validate fine in the front end, but keep producing validation errors from the ComputeWithForm method in R6. I’ve seen at least one other post saying this as well. Has anyone else had experience of this and perhaps arrived at a solution of some sort?
