When I use the File > Export command from a categorized view and export only selected documents, I get inconsistent results. I do not get all the documents I selected, and many of the entries in the target file are repeats. Has anyone else seen a problem like this?

I have noticed that in a categorized view the category entries contain data too. You may see the contents by creating (in Lotusscript) a NotesViewNavigator based on the view and then loop through all entries and display all the ColumnValues. This will give you a sense of what the actual contents of each view entry is. There is an attribute IsCategory which helps you to distingush between category entries and the other entries.
The cause of your other remark about missing some data is unclear to me.

I’m experiencing the same issue. From 2 different databases when I try to export the data into a lotus 123 format, the file that is built does not represent the data that was selected. For example, If I select rows 1 through 25 of a categorized view that contains 200+ rows & click FILE - EXPORT, select 123 format, then open the built file, it will have ( usually the first 20% of the records correctly exported, there after the results are unpredictable. Some of the records are duplicated, some are not what I selected & some are missing.
Were running Domino 7.0.2 FP1 on an AS400 V5R3.
Client is Windows XP SP2 w/ Notes 7.0.2 client.
This issue was noted after our upgrade from 6.5.1 ( clients & Severs)
