Using Notes: syntax to open document without DocUNID

Does anyone have a technique for opening a specific document in the Notes client via the Notes:// prototcol where the DocUNID is NOT known but a key value is. This can be done using http:// prototcol but I have been unable to find any syntax to open a specific document

e.g. notes://server/filepath/viewname/key?OpenDocument does not seem to work.

Domino URLs do not use the server name. Host (DNS Entry or IP Address) identifies the server. Hence should be as http://host/filepath.....So your URL will not work. If you wnat to have such link, You can simulate the link as an action hotspot and have some code to open the document.

I could have sworn that I have done that. I can get it work down to specifying the view, but putting a key on it causes a “not found” message.

I have exactly the same requirement.
