Using an R5 client with an ID file created by registration on an R6 server

Hello

Circumstances, including a Domain Split and upgrade from a R5 to R6.5.x, will result in our users needing to access both R5 and R6 servers using an R5 client for a short period of time. They will be using a new ID file that was created by registering them on the R6.5 server in the new Domain from their R5 client.

Can anyone forsee any complications with this??

I have the same environment, and have had no problems at all.
