Users receiving mail see entire list of individuals rather than group name

The agent sends to a group but when a person receives the email, they see all the members listed out in the To field?

Const Recipients = “QA_Distribution”

.

.

.

Set newDoc = New NotesDocument( db )

			Set rtitem = New NotesRichTextItem( newDoc, "Body" )

			Call rtitem.AppendText(bodytext)

			Call rtitem.AppendDocLink(doc, "")

			newDoc.Form = "Memo"

			newDoc.Subject = mailsubject

			newDoc.SendTo = Recipients

			newDoc.Send( False )

it had worked before (where the group name shows up) but since we changed the schedule and the “Run on behalf of user” property, it’s showing all the people in the group,

any ideas?

thks,

Put the “Recipients” in the BCC field. Then, the current user will only see thier name in the BCC field. Do this …

newDoc.BlindCopyTo = Recipients

If you need to have a name in the SendTo field, just sent it to yourself or something like that.

thanks, that’s what I ended up doing. I would have preferred to have the group name in the To field but this is good enough,

thanks for the response,

if it’s a public group it should not expand. if it’s a local group then it expands.
