User's Notes Client Opens to a Personal Folder

I have a user, using a 3rd party mail template. When he mopens his mailfile, it automaticall opens to one of his personal folders. the same one every time, not to his Inbox view.

I’ve gone in to Launch properties and unchecked and re checked Restore as Last Viewed by User. I’ve run updall, fixup, compact. I’ve deleted cache.ndk and replaced the database design and done a Ctrl-Shift-F9. None of them work.

Any ideas?

Try the following. Most of the times such issues are resolved by deleting bookmark.nsf. If not, apologies for wasting your time.

  1. Close Lotus Notes

  2. Delete bookmark.nsf

  3. Launch Lotus Notes again

Just to give you a clue

Open the database properties and goto Launch Tab.

There, just check what is specified in the “When launched in Notes Client” field.

You might get the solution.
