Some users can’t find their names in the notes database, but they can using their notes Id to login the sametime client. Some users can use notes smoothly, which means they can also use the sametime in notes, but they can’t use their account in sametime client software. Does anyone know what’s the problem? Notes client and Sametime client could be connected to two different Domino servers. Notes client connected to your Mail server, and Sametime to Sametime server.
Generally in such a setup either, both servers are in same Domino domain, or the servers use LDAP/directory assistance to sync user login details. This should be a starting point to find out what exactly is the probelm in your case…
