Hi. I have a user who is able to receive internal mail but unable to receive external mail. We have a mail relay which sends and receives external mail. That server receives external mail ok and sends it to the home server of the user. It is the home server that generates the message that the user is not listed in the domino directory. I have checked the mail file on the server and the entry in the address book and they appear ok. Do you have any suggestions as to how to solve this problem. I would really appreciate it. No other users have this problem.

Is the internet address being used on the incoming message specified in the user’s Person document as the Internet Address? Spelling/typos?
Using CTRL-SHFT, open the hidden $Users view - can you find the internet address using quicksearch? Use SHFT-F9 to rebuild the view index.

Thanks for the advice. Where do i use the CTrl Shift?

Sorry to be unclear - old trick. Hold down CTRL-SHFT while you select from the menu View | Go To… and the list of views will show all hidden views. Without the additional keys, it just shows the normal views.
Subject: Re CTRL + DELETE
Hi. Thanks allot for your help. When did that everything looks ok but i think i realize the problem. All users were registered with a dot (.) to separate last name from first name however the server also uses an underscore (_). This person had an underscore in their name. I think the server could not figure out the first name from the last name and rejected the message.
What is weird is that it was the mail relay accepted the message and passed it on to the correct home server and it was the home server that rejected it. The person also claim that they were able to receive outside emails before. I cannot verify that as they have deleted mails older than a month. I am wondering if the address book on the home server corrupt.
In the interim i will change the person name and remove the underscore so that they can receive outside emails. Thanks for your help.
